Theological Position Quiz

I just took a pretty good quiz on quizfarm.com called “What’s your theological worldview?” It is pretty accurate over all.

Here are my results as a screen capture. The top two or so were deadly accurate for me. And being that it placed “emergent” at the bottom for me (whose doctrine I loathe with increased passion day by day), I was pleased!

I just had a little fun and took the quiz myself. Here are my results:
Reformed Evangelical- 79%
Holiness/Wesleyan- 79%
Fundamentalist- 64%
Neo-Orthodox- 64%
Emergent/Postmodern- 43%
Charistmatic/Pentecostal- 43%
Classic Liberal- 43%
Modern Liberal-14%
Roman Catholic- 4%
I was sort of disappointed with my results. Namely, I would have much rather preferred to have the title of modern liberal attached to than classic liberal, as if I’m modern I’m fresh and hip.
Some of the questions left much to be desired, however. For example, I remember one question asking, “Karl Barth’s theology is hugely important.” I am assuming if you answered “yes” to this question that it boasted you rating as a neo-orthodox adherent. In actuality, Karl Barth’s theology was hugely important- in fact, there is little doubt in anyone’s mind that he was the most influential theologian of his century.
I am assuming I scored so high on the Wesleyan position because I more agreed than disagreed with personal Christian experience questions as well as spiritual gifts questions. Although, they may have weighed the Christian experience questions stronger to the Neo Orthodox end.
That was fun- I enjoy seeing what other people label me as!

I’m surprised to see you scored 43% Emerging Church on that! You’re holding out on us down there in Newtonville! I may have to launch an investigation…
I had fun with that quiz too. But don’t feel too bad, when Beth took it, she scored 54% Emerging. I think there is a conspiracy here with my friends. Not sure where this is leading…
