The words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:58 have rung true for me so many times over the years: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.” Truly this is my life verse.

God’s grace has been upon me from an early age. When I was about five years old, I came to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation through the witness of my grandmother. She was a sweet, God-fearing woman of God who faithfully took me to church every Sunday. Growing up in church, I learned to be a man of God.

During my senior year of high school, God began to do a supernatural work of transforming my life to look more and more like Him. Less than a month outside of graduation, God called me to the pastoral ministry to preach His Word and shepherd His flock. I began undergraduate studies at Indiana University Southeast, where I had planned to major in Atmospheric Science before I was called by God. God had other plans for my life and I started attending the local Baptist Collegiate Ministry on campus. It was there that I met a Godly pastor who took me under his wings to mentor me for the ministry.

God has led me through many wonderful experiences through the years which have further conformed me to the image of His Son. I have had the wonderful privilege to take a good number of mission trips in the US and Canada. God has used me to lead several people to Christ over the years, as well as allowing me to teach His Word to His people. I have been blessed by God in immeasurable ways.

In addition to all these, God has blessed me with a wonderful family. I have the best wife a husband could ask for and a two year old daughter who is the joy of my life. Family is very important to me. It is a real joy to be a parent.

On August 12, 2007, God also allowed me to pastor Limestone Baptist Church where I was able to faithfully preach and teach His Word verse-by-verse week in and week out for nearly two and a half years. I love being a pastor. I love caring for His people. Recently God has led me along a path which has taken me away from Limestone, but I look forward with great anticipation to what God will do next.
